Russell Hantz is an American reality television personality and entrepreneur who is best known for his appearances on three seasons of the American reality show, 'Survivor', and one season of its Australian edition. One of two participants to lose in the finals twice, he finished as the runner-up on 'Survivor: Samoa' and the second runner-up on 'Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains'. However, he gained notoriety for his devious methods and became the second player to be eliminated in his two other appearances on 'Survivor: Redemption Island' and 'Australian Survivor: Champions vs. Contenders'. He still won two 'Sprint Player of the Season' awards, with $100,000 cash prize, and is considered one of the show's most influential contestants by many. He also starred on the A&E reality documentary 'Flipped Off' and hosts a podcast titled 'The Russell Hantz Show'. He is the co-owner of the oilfield service company 'Hantz Tankering Service' with his father and brothers, and runs the bar named 'Bootleggers'.
