Summer is finally here and it’s heating up at Roy Rogers Restaurants. In partnership with Texas Pete, the western-themed QSR restaurant has added a limited-time offering to Roy Rogers’ popular lineup of chicken dishes. This new menu item, Texas Pete Buffalo Chicken Tenders, features Roy’s original hand-breaded tenders, dipped in Texas Pete® and sold separately, or as a combo, with options of 3, 4, 8, or 12 pieces.

White Castle, Roy Rogers strut their chicken stuff

White Castle and Roy Rogers Restaurants are betting chicken will launch them into a strong-selling summer. Columbus, Ohio-based White Castle is hoping to run rings around the competition with its fan-favorite white-meat chicken rings and dipping concoctions, like ranch, barbecue and honey mustard sauces, a news release said. To get the summer off right, the brand is offering the rings in 12- or 20-piece packs for $2.99 and $5.79, respectively, except in New York and New Jersey, where they cost $3.99 and $6.49.

Roy Rogers to Reopen June 1

The Roy Rogers in the Belle View Shopping Center will celebrate its long-awaited grand re-opening on June 1, the Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce announced. Located at 1506 Belle View Blvd., the restaurant closed in October 2019 following a devastating multi-alarm fire that spread along the roofline of the shopping center. An investigation by the Fairfax County Fire Marshal’s office determined that fire began in a walk-in cooler at Yido Ramen and Sushi, which had opened just days before.
