Rosamund Pike to Narrate 'The Wheel of Time' Audiobooks of 'The Great Hunt' and 'The Dragon Reborn' [Exclusive]

As the dust settles on all of the exciting reveals during San Diego Comic-Con, Collider is thrilled to exclusively reveal that The Wheel of Time's Rosamund Pike will narrate the audiobook releases of Robert Jordan's novels The Great Hunt and The Dragon Reborn. This Macmillian Audio release follows Pike's narration of Jordan's The Eye of the World late last year, which coincided with the premiere of the series on Prime Video. Before lending her voice to the world of The Wheel of Time, Pike also narrated blockbuster audiobooks such as A Slow Fire Burning by Paula Hawkins, Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, and Ian Fleming's The Spy Who Loved Me.

Deadline first reported the acquisition of “Saltburn” will be part of Amazon’s world rights deal with MRC. Principal photography is set to begin this summer in the U.K. The streamer also picked up Lynne Ramsay’s adaptation of Margaret Atwood revenge thriller “Stone Mattress,” starring Sandra Oh and Julianne Moore, out of Cannes. Casting is really picking up on the production as Deadline revealed today that Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan have both signed on to join the previously announced Rosamund Pike in the Emerald Fennell helmed project. While no plot details are being released at this time, we do know the film will be based around the theme of obsession. Judging by the actors they’ve chosen to bring the feature to life, we’d say that casting absolutely understood the assignment.

Rosamund Pike, best known for her Academy Award-nominated turn as the tormented Amy Elliot Dunne in David Fincher’s 2014 Gone Girl, is set to team up with director/writer Emerald Fennell in a new drama concentrating on a “grand, aristocratic English family.” Reportedly titled “Saltburn,” the film will be familiar territory for Fennell, as she attended the prestigious boarding school Marlborough College in the eponymous English city. Filming is due to begin later this year.
