Roger Moore

In loving memory of our beloved Roger Lee Moore on his 62nd birthday, April 13. It’s hard to believe you have been gone two years. We greatly miss you. You always enjoyed our family get togethers. You were quite a story teller, many laughs. Over the years you became a local history buff and an avid “bottle collector”. Your bottle collector friends were a group who really liked you. Your special friend “Leonard” was very good to you and helpful.

James Bond Hopeful Regé-Jean Page Has A Notable Connection To Third 007 Actor Roger Moore

In the continuing race to crown the next face of the James Bond movies, former Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page has been a consistent fan favorite to become the next 007. With the most recent odds showing Henry Cavill toppling Page and his recent run of success, questions of how long The Witcher lead would keep riding high like his predecessor have started to form. It looks like the answer to that question has already arrived – which also makes this a good time to reflect on the connection Regé-Jean Page has with the third actor to play 007, the late Sir Roger Moore. After all, he might just be the new Commander Bond if this latest twist is accurate.

Bond Girl Jane Seymour Shares Unusual Way She And Roger Moore Prepped For Love Scenes

Just as much as one-liners and gadgets, Bond, James Bond, often can be counted on to win the attention of a leading lady in the 007 films. In Live and Let Die, that was Solitaire, played by Jane Seymour. Though their characters had to exude pure chemistry, Seymour herself did not always feel up for that, but her co-star Roger Moore had ways of easing the tension.

‘Roger Moore collapsed one night. I thought he’d died’: how we made The Play What I Wrote

It was all [producer] David Pugh’s fault. In 1988 I’d set up a small two-person theatre company, The Right Size, with Hamish McColl, creating work that was somewhere between European physical theatre and British variety. We’d had some success; one of our shows had transferred to the West End. One day in 2001, David called us in and said, “I want you to make a show about Morecambe and Wise.”

Britt Ekland: No Bond compares to Sir Roger Moore

Britt Ekland says no one will match up to Sir Roger Moore's James Bond. The 79-year-old actress starred with the late actor in the 1974 Bond film 'The Man with the Golden Gun' and admits that no 007 compares to Roger's portrayal of the spy. Reflecting on Moore's take on...
