Stranger Things' Robin Getting Her Own Novel and Scripted Podcast

The fourth season of Stranger Things is currently in production and new cast members were just announced earlier this week. There's a lot to look forward to in the upcoming season, which has been teased as being "more mature." Fans are especially excited to see the return of some favorite characters, including Robin Buckley, the season three newcomer played by Maya Hawke. Ahead of Stranger Things’ upcoming fourth season, a brand new six-episode fiction podcast series and book centering on Maya Hawke’s character Robin has been announced. The podcast, titled Rebel Robin: Surviving Hawkins, will be written and directed by Lauren Shippen, Hawke, and Sean Maher. The podcast will focus on Robin and her favorite teacher, Mr. Hauser, as they meet regularly to discuss philosophy, books, friendship, independence, and more. A coming of age story about the struggle of being different in a small town, Surviving Hawkins will explore how learning to be ourselves is truly the bravest thing we can do because it brings out the scariest monster of all: the judgment of other people.
