The Chatham County Board of Commissioners officially has a new member: former Chatham County Schools superintendent Robert Logan. Board members voted unanimously to appoint Logan to the board as an interim commissioner at their meeting on Monday. He takes over for Jim Crawford, who stepped down at the end of December. The seat represents District 4, which covers northwest Chatham County.
Pittsboro, NC – On February 7, 2022, the Chatham County Board of Commissioners (BOC) appointed Robert Logan to fill the interim District 4 seat vacated by Jim Crawford on December 31, 2021. Logan will serve until a new District 4 Commissioner is elected in November and assumes office in 2023.
