Not only was this week's Rampage back to its normal 10 p.m. ET timeslot, but SmackDown was the go-home show for this weekend's Hell in a Cell event. The big news coming out of Rampage is CM Punk announcing that he is injured and requires surgery, which means he there will be an interim champion crowned at Forbidden Door.

As noted on last night’s SmackDown, Riddick Moss made his return to WWE television by helping Happy Corbin attack Kevin Owens. His latest match was a pre-SmackDown match against Odyssey Jones on September 17. His last match before that was on the October 1, 2020, edition of WWE Main Event, where he defeated Erik of The Viking Raiders.
As previously reported, Riddick Moss made his return to WWE TV on last night’s episode of Smackdown, where he helped Happy Corbin beat up Kevin Owens. He had been out of action for almost a year due to an ACL injury. Fightful Select reports that Moss wrestled for a while last year with the injury. A WWE official said they were “shocked and impressed” due to the nature of the injury.

Owens made it to ringside but was quickly attacked out of nowhere by a man dressed in all black. That man revealed himself to be Moss. Moss laughed in between attacking Owens, and then was joined by Corbin for a double team beatdown on Owens at ringside. They finished Owens off with a double chokeslam on top of the bottom of the steel ring steps. Moss then laughed hysterically while Corbin smiled and they stood tall over Owens to end the segment.
As seen on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Riddick Moss made his return and aligned himself with Happy Corbin during a segment that involved Corbin and Kevin Owens. During Corbin’s new “Happy Talk” segment, Kevin Owens came out and tried to go after him. Prior to Owens making it to the ring, Moss came out in a hood and attacked him.
