For Ashley Graham, that meant embracing all that comes with being the mother of a new set of twins—namely tiredness, fresh-faced serenity, and doubled-up feeding times. Imaan Hammam and Camille Razat opted for stylized snaps centering berried lips and fresh faces, while Helena Christensen opted for lids touched in tangerine, the better to echo a neon sunset.

Was the prevailing theme for this week’s stunning array of best beauty Instagrams. Dancer and actress Mette Towley, a master at marrying style with function when it comes to beauty, recently debuted a new look: a sleek, braided ponytail that demonstrated how to easily elevate the style so that it always looks fresh, never boring. To create the look, hairstylist Issac Poleon, who has styled equally glossy looks for the likes of Jorja Smith and Paloma Elsesser, first brushed out Towley's baby hairs before laying them back in swoops. The final effect is slick, yet playful thanks to the elongated sideburns set in delicate swirls.
We all buy clothes, but no two people shop the same. It can be a social experience, and a deeply personal one; at times, it can be impulsive and entertaining, at others, purpose-driven, a chore. Where do you shop? When do you shop? How do you decide what you need, how much to spend and what's "you"? These are some of the questions we're putting to prominent figures in our column "How I Shop."

There's a lot of value in a signature look — it can tell people who you are and what you stand for before they even talk to you. But people evolve, and every once in a while, it's healthy to ditch a look that's starting to feel stale. It appears that's exactly what Rickey Thompson just did. The comedian slash model slash influencer just traded in his signature hairstyle — a braided bob he's had for years — for something wildly different and very fresh-feeling.
Above Rickey Thompson’s bed there is a painstakingly arranged collage of posters. The cover of Missy Elliott’s trailblazing 2001 album Miss E… So Addictive sits between the movie poster from John Singleton’s Oscar-nominated 1991 classic Boyz n the Hood and the ever-iconic picture of Destiny’s Child mimicking the Charlie’s Angels pose circa “Independent Women, Pt. 1.” Directly beneath those is a movie poster for the 1992 Tupac Shakur vehicle Juice, which slightly overlaps with one for the 1995 Emma tribute Clueless and a portrait of the Spice Girls in their prime.

There’s nothing like the instant upgrade you feel when you snap a fresh new case on your phone, and comedian and social media star Rickey Thompson knows it. He’s teamed up with Wildflower on a ‘70s-inspired phone case that’s perfect for all your summer fun, from selfies to beach days.
As we swap out our sweaters and jeans for swimsuits and sundresses to beat the summer heat, Rickey Thompson is here to remind us that our phones might be in need of an equally stylish makeover. In partnership with women-owned phone-case brand Wildflower, the dancer and content creator collaborated on a new iPhone case design inspired by '70s prints, and the psychedelic colors are so cool, we might brave the heat just to show them off. "It's getting hot outside, so how about you put your phone in something sexy?!" Rickey said on his IGS on Friday, showing off the deep reds, bright oranges, and refreshing pops of teal.
Not sure what to wear in a world post-quarantine? Dress for the future by building on the past. Coach went retro for its Winter 2021 collection. The American brand debuted the show in Shanghai with an extraordinarily captivating in-person runway show. Gravitating toward '50s nostalgia, the show opened in the all-American style of a drive-in movie, presenting the latest episode of Coach TV: House of Coach. With references to worn-out commercials, advertisement parodies hosted by Rickey Thompson and Jennifer Lopez lip-syncing The Go-Gos in a car, the creatively-chaotic masterpiece didn’t fail to entertain.
For Coach’s newest campaign, showcasing its pre-fall 2021 collection, the brand tapped Hari Nef, Dree Hemingway and Rickey Thompson to star in a fantasy road-trip setting. Shot by Max Farago outside of Los Angeles, the images are meant to evoke all the freedom and fun that comes with an early summer road trip with friends, all dressed in modern American sportswear.
Rickey Thompson wasn’t always outgoing. “I was a shy kid,” the comedian-actor-influencer tells Vogue over the phone. “I feel like social media really brought the confidence out of me.” These days, Thompson, 25, is “booked and busy,” (as he reminds us in his Instagram bio), modeling in campaigns for brands like Coach, gracing the cover of Paper magazine, and hosting a podcast, We Said What We Said, alongside his best friend Denzel Dion. “Now I’m a social butterfly,” he says.
