Rakell had a goal and an assist with two shots in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild on Saturday. Rakell opened the scoring with a deflection in front 12:02 into the first period, his ninth goal of the season. He later picked up an assist on Max Comtois' game-tying goal in the final minute of regulation for his first multi-point game since mid-March. Rakell had 29 points in 52 games in 2020-21.

Rakell produced an assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Kings. Rakell set up a Sam Steel equalizer late in the second period. The 27-year-old Rakell has picked up three assists in his last five outings, but his goal drought is up to seven games. The Swede has struggled with consistency for much of 2020-21, notching 26 points, 131 shots on net, 61 hits and a minus-11 rating through 46 contests overall.

Ducks' Rickard Rakell: Offers assist Sunday

Rakell recorded an assist and four shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Golden Knights. Rakell had the secondary assist on a Maxime Comtois goal in the first period. With just two points through six appearances in April, Rakell has returned to inconsistency late in the season. The Swede has 24 points, 126 shots on net, 55 hits and a minus-10 rating in 42 outings overall.

Rakell scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-0 win over the Sharks. Rakell struck at 3:26 of the third period to produce the game's last goal. Since he wasn't traded Monday, Rakell can be expected to fill a top-six role down the stretch for the Ducks.

The Anaheim Ducks have recently pulled themselves out of the offensive chasm they started the year in and now have toed slightly ahead of both the Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings in terms of goals per game. One of the main reasons for that climb is Rickard Rakell, who has managed 12 points in his last seven games, including four multi-point efforts. The two-time 30-goal scorer has found a little bit of his old juice and is now tied with Max Comtois for the Ducks’ points lead.

Rakell filled his place on the top line to great results. Monday was Rakell's second straight three-point effort, and his point streak reached six games. He's picked up five goals and seven helpers in that span. The 27-year-old Swede seems to have broken his slump -- he now has six goals, 19 points, 83 shots on net, 35 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 26 contests. He isn't going to stay at this pace, but Rakell is capable of steady offense, especially if he sticks in the top six.

Rakell tallied a goal and two assists with five shots in a 5-4 overtime win against the Avalanche on Saturday. Rakell opened the scoring just over five minutes into the game, burying a one-timer directly off an offensive-zone faceoff win. He later set up Kevin Shattenkirk's game-tying goal on the power play with 2:50 left in regulation, as well as Ryan Getzlaf's overtime winner. Rakell has reached the scoresheet in five consecutive games (three goals, six assists), moving him into a tie for the team scoring lead with 16 points in 25 contests.
