Peter James Berg, 82, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday morning, February 6, 2022, at the Seasons Hospice House in Rochester with his family by his side. Peter was born on January 14, 1940, in Holmen, Wisconsin to James and Anna (Evenson) Berg. He attended school in Holmen and graduated from Holmen High School in 1958. He went on to the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse and graduated in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Biology. Peter served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era from 1963 to 1965. On June 15, 1968, he married Carole Warmka at St. John’s Catholic Church in Rochester.

You see, back in the late 2000s, it was rumored action director Peter Berg (Lone Survivor, Patriot’s Day) was going to be taking a swing at the space saga in an effort to create something a little less, well… obtuse than the 1984 version created by David Lynch. However, not much was known about what the project would look like or who was slated to work alongside Berg — until now.

First revealed by Deadline back in March 2020, The Rise and Fall of Victoria’s Secret will shed light on the inner workings of a once-powerful sector of the world of fashion, adding context to both the positive and negative aspects of a rapidly transforming industry. Tentatively set to for a 2021 launch, the Tyrnauer-directed docuseries is currently in production.
