Pedro Rizzo shares his take on the “worst matchup” for UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou

MMA legend Pedro Rizzo recently shared his take on who is the “worst matchup” for newly crowned UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. Ngannou (16-3 MMA) captured the title of “baddest man on the planet” last month at UFC 260 when he defeated Stipe Miocic by way of second round knockout. The victory marked Ngannou’s fifth in a row, as he had previously scored first round stoppage wins over Junior dos Santos, Cain Velasquez, Curtis Blaydes and Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

Pedro Rizzo: Daniel Cormier a Worse Matchup for Francis Ngannou Than Jon Jones

Pedro Rizzo has been doing his part to help further combat sports among Brazilian youth. Since 2016, the former UFC heavyweight contender has led a social project called “Usina de Campeões,” where more than 300 children from the slums of Rio de Janeiro have the opportunity to train six different martial arts styles. The most talented among those kids might get the opportunity to train on the professional MMA team some day alongside the likes of UFC fighters Raoni Barcelos and Warlley Alves.
