Playing EA Sports' Madden NFL 23 can be life changing. At least that's the storyline behind Paramount and Nickelodeon's latest original family sports comedy Fantasy Football. Many fantasy football fans wish they had more control over their team's results, and that's sort of what the story is about. The storyline follows 16-year-old Callie (Marsai Martin) and her father Bobby Coleman (Omari Hardwick) who is an NFL running back. Coleman's career is struggling as he can't stop fumbling the ball, but his luck changes after his daughter learns she can control his performance by playing Madden.

'Power': Omari Hardwick Reveals His Surprisingly Low Salary

Omari Hardwick may have been the lead on the STARZ drama series Power for six years but that doesn't mean his bank account matched it, at least for a while. Hardwick starred in the series as James "Ghost" St. Patrick, a New York City drug pin turned nightclub owner who couldn't fully leave the street life alone and whose home life clashed due to an extramarital affair. The series birthed four spinoffs, known as the "Power Universe," featuring other major characters in the show. It was a hit from the beginning, but being on a new show, Hardwick says he was so broke that he had to borrow money twice from the show's creator, rapper Cutis "50 Cent" Jackson.

Omari Hardwick had to borrow money from 50 Cent after being paid so little on ‘Power’ (video)

Ladies man Omari Hardwick finally admits he twice had to borrow money from notorious loan shark 50 Cent because his “Power” pay was so paltry. Hardwick’s personal finances were in stark contrast to his iconic character, James “Ghost” St. Patrick in the Starz blockbuster drama series. Ghost was a suave and arrogant criminal who boasted a lavish lifestyle borne from being the leader of a violent drug syndicate in New York.
