Nir Bitton might not have always been a regular first-team starter for Celtic, but he was an important member of the squad throughout his nine-season long run at the club. As a result, it was sad to see him bring the curtain down on his Parkhead career and the Israeli international was visibly emotional as well. But at the same time, it was good see that he could finish it on a high by lifting the Premiership title and celebrating with the fans one last time.

Nir Bitton could follow Hatem Elhamed by making a move from Celtic back to Israel with Hapoel Be’er Sheva joining Maccabi Tel Aviv in registering an interest in the 29 year old utility internationalists.
