Olympic bronze medalist Nile Wilson is an English artistic gymnast. Nile started practicing gymnastics at school and by the time he graduated, he was ready to showcase his skills in the big leagues. In March 2014, Nile participated in the British Junior Championship and emerged as a winner, helping himself to win the Young Sportsman Male award that year. In the 2014 Commonwealth championship which was held in Glasgow, Scotland, he played a major role in helping his team win a gold medal. He also won four medals for himself, including two gold medals. He then went on to win a record-breaking five gold medals at the European Junior Gymnastics Championships, becoming a local celebrity in England. His sublime skills while using the horizontal bar have made him the reigning champion in the Commonwealth Games. At the 2016 Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the same category. He was also an important part of the silver medal winning British team at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship.
