Nick Marshall with strong debut for West Texas A & M

Antigo’s Nick Marshall had a successful debut Sunday for the West Texas A & M Buffaloes, a Division II school located in Canyon, Texas. Marshall, who spent the prior two seasons pitching for Indian Hills Community College in Iowa, transferred to West Texas A & M following last season as he continues what has been a successful run at the collegiate level.

Former Auburn standout Nick Marshall had a big game Friday night for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and that included a 27-yard interception returned for a touchdown. The score helped the Roughriders knock off the British Columbia Lions, 33-29, as Marshall got back on the field for the first time since Nov. 17, 2019. It gave the Roughriders a 28-0 lead as they had to hold on as the Lions made a huge comeback. It was a long time coming for Marshall.
