Nicholas Hoult is a famous English actor. He gained prominence after starring in the role of Marcus Brewer alongside Hugh Grant in the movie ‘About A Boy’. He is best known for playing the role of Beast in the ‘X-Men: First Class’, ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, and ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. Hoult earned a ‘Golden Nymph Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series’ nomination for his portrayal of Tony Stonem on the TV show ‘Skins’. He met actress Kaya Scodelario on the sets of the ‘Skins’ and he regards her guidance as a blessing in his life. He admittedly doesn’t like watching his own acting and often plays pranks. He once ran into a golf course dressed as Beast and gave golfing tips and then ran away. Hoult recently admitted being in a relationship with model Bryana Holly. He is a sports enthusiast, enjoys Formula One racing, and used to play for Reading Rockets. Besides his successful acting career, the actor is equally involved with social causes and charities. Renfield, the "extremely violent comedy" from Universal Pictures and Robert Kirkman, now has a release date. The film, which stars X-Men's Nicholas Hoult and Ghost Rider's Nicolas Cage, will open April 14, 2023, according to Universal. R.M. Renfield, the asylum inmate who was a servant of Dracula in the original Bram Stoker novel, is getting his own movie, with The Tomorrow War and The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay set up to helm the new film. McKay's ability to blend action and comedy was reportedly a big reason why he was brought on as director.

Facebook reminded me this morning that today is two years from the date when the review embargo for The Invisible Man broke. The Blumhouse/Universal film was the best mainstream theatrical movie of 2020, albeit with quite a few promising contenders shifted out of the year (or sent to streaming) due to the Covid pandemic which was about to spread worldwide in a few weeks. Leigh Whannell’s $7 million chiller, starring Elizabeth Moss being seemingly being stalked by her allegedly dead ex-boyfriend, earned a strong $143 million worldwide and was among the few successful (or likely to be successful) movies released just before Covid that likely had its global box office severely undercut.
