Sacred Rose is a music festival taking place from August 26-28 at Chicagoland’s Seatgeek Stadium. Today, it’s been announced that Grateful Dead icon Phil Lesh will headline. The Phil Lesh & Friends lineup for the show includes Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and Nels Cline, and the set is being billed as a one-off show under the name Philco. Last night, PBS aired the 7th annual Austin City Limits Hall Of Fame ceremony. Wilco were inducted into the Hall Of Fame alongside Lucinda Williams and Alejandro Escovedo, and the band were on hand to perform “California Stars” with an all-star cast that included Escovedo, Rosanne Cash, Jason Isbell, Margo Price, Sheila E., Terry Allen, and Japanese Breakfast. Bill Callahan also took the stage at the event (which took place back in October) to cover “Sky Blue Sky,” with some help from Wilco’s own Nels Cline. Watch below.

Nels Cline celebrates his 66th birthday today. The renowned guitarist was born on January 4, 1956 in Los Angeles. While he has served as lead guitarist for rockers Wilco since 2004 and also fronted his own Nels Cline Singers, the prolific musician has played on over 150 recordings in a wide range of genres from jazz and punk to alt-rock and experimental. Cline’s copious experience in these spheres has served him well in his collaboration in the jam world. Nels has lent his expertise to supergroup Banyan as well as sit-ins with Medeski, Martin & Wood, Tedeschi Trucks Band and more.
