Ned LeDoux to carry on his dad's legacy with Frontier Nights show

CHEYENNE – Ned LeDoux has been to Cheyenne Frontier Days at least two dozen times, but this year will be different. This year, the 125th anniversary of the “Daddy of ‘em All” is dedicated to his dad, the late Chris LeDoux, and he’ll be opening Frontier Nights on Friday in his memory.

Wyoming native Ned LeDoux entertains Stampede fans at Park Stage

Thursday night under the Colorado sky, Ned LeDoux stepped onto the Greeley Stampede’s Park Stage to kick off the much-anticipated rodeo and carnival. As the large crowd gathered behind the metal barriers, LeDoux and his band entertained them with some of his past and present hits as well as some of his dad, Chris LeDoux’s, hits such as “This Cowboy’s Hat,” “Copenhagen” and “Western Skies.”

Ned LeDoux to play at Burford

Country singer-songwriter Ned LeDoux will perform at the Burford Theatre alongside a full band at 8 p.m. Friday. Ned LeDoux is the son of country artist Chris LeDoux and got his start playing in his father’s band, Western Underground. In 2015, Ned LeDoux released an EP titled Forever a Cowboy. Since then, LeDoux has released two full-length studio albums, Sagebrush (2017) and Next in Line (2019). Some time after his father’s death, his mother found a list of Chris LeDoux’s song ideas and Ned LeDoux finished one of those songs. That song, “We Ain’t Got It All,” appeared on the album Sagebrush.
