If Michigan football was helped in any recruitment by the hire of Steve Clinkscale, it was probably with three-star cornerback Myles Pollard. In college football, anytime you have a change on your coaching staff, it’s going to have an impact on the recruiting trail. It’s just the nature of the beast.

Michigan in ‘pretty good spot’ with rising CB Myles Pollard

Michigan’s impressive June official visit slate became even more striking yesterday when Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood cornerback Myles Pollard added his name to the list for the June 11th weekend. The Wolverines along with Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, and Washington comprise his final six, but so far, the Sooners are the only other suitor with an official scheduled (June 18th). Pollard hasn’t publicly declared any favorites, but his trainer believes Michigan has factors boosting its chances.

Three-star corner Myles Pollard sets official visit to OU

The Oklahoma Sooners received some good news from the recruiting trail on Sunday. Soon, the world of recruiting will see several restrictions lifted. This will allow, among other things, prospects to begin taking their in-person official visits. One recruit who has now locked-in a trip to Norman is Brentwood, Tennessee defensive back Myles Pollard. The Ravenwood High School star announced via social media he'd be checking out the Sooners from June 18-to-20.
