3 people pass away in Arvada shooting, responding officer and suspect included

Two people passed away after an attacker shot them, including a police officer fatally injured, as Yahoo News reports. The suspect also lost his life in the incident. Officer Gordon Beesley, a 19-year veteran of the Arvada Police Department, responded to the 911 call for help. It was about a suspicious incident that took place on Monday, at about 1:15 p.m. Almost 15 minutes later, another call was received on the 911 line.

Pizza delivery driver fatally shoots reported armed robber with concealed carry gun

An Ohio pizza delivery driver fatally shot an alleged attempted armed robber with his concealed carry weapon. The situation unfolded at an Ohio Papa John’s when two masked men entered the store after 11 p.m. on Sunday and reportedly sprinted toward the employees with a crowbar and a knife. An unidentified delivery driver working for the store then fatally shot one of the alleged robbers, 21-year-old Gage Melton, while a second suspect fled the scene.

Littleton (Col.) Valor Christian four-star running back Gavin Sawchuk announced his commitment Tuesday afternoon. He’s heading to the Big 12. Sawchuk, the No. 1 player in Colorado and the No. 2 running back in the 2022 class according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, has committed to Oklahoma. Claims of murder plot against GOP candidate in Florida court

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Claims by a Republican congressional candidate that another GOP hopeful plotted to kill her landed Tuesday in a Florida courtroom. Anna Paulina Luna, who plans to run for Florida’s District 13 seat after losing a race for the slot in 2020 to Democratic U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist, contends in court documents that GOP challenger William Braddock is stalking her and wants her dead. Luna has filed a petition for a permanent restraining order. Pinellas County Circuit Judge Doneene Loar had previously granted a temporary restraining order for Luna and a conservative activist and friend of hers, Erin Olszewski, after the allegations surfaced.
