Michael McCoy, 76, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. Michael was born December 24, 1945, in Pikeville, Kentucky to Samuel and Lora (Blackburn) McCoy. Michael was a machinist and CNC operator with New York Blower in La Porte. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Michael Lane McCoy, age 59, of Monroe, NC, passed away on October 27, 2021. He was born in Union County on September 5, 1962, son of the late Archie and Edith McCoy. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Frankie McCoy. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn McCoy; his sons, Chris McCoy, Josh McCoy and Tommy Bartholomew; his grandson, Grayson Bartholomew; his sisters, Judy Long (John), Sylvia Adcock (Robert) and Cyndi McCoy and by his brother, Bill McCoy. Michael proudly served and retired from the Army National Guard. He owned and operated a successful lawn care business for over 30 years. Michael enjoyed golfing, working out, dancing and going on beach trips when he wasn’t working.
