Meghan Trainor

Meghan Elizabeth Trainor is an American singer, songwriter and record producer, who wrote, recorded, performed and produced three independently released albums before she turned 18. A child prodigy, Trainor’s interest in singing and songwriting can be traced to her musically-inclined family; her father being her pillar of support. Since an early age, Meghan Trainor exhibited a fondness for music, which was appreciated and encouraged by her parents. By eleven, she had started writing music and two years later penned her first original score. In 2014, came to limelight with the release of her major-label debut studio album, ‘Title’. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and went on to become a big hit with the sale of overr one million copies domestically. Trainor’s music is known for its retro style aesthetics. Most of her works revolve around subjects such as modern womanhood, body image, and empowerment. Her music has been influenced by artists such as Christina Aguilera, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Ariana Grande, Jason Mraz and so on.
