The New York theater community is banding together to save one of its own. Broadway stars including Matthew Broderick, Chita Rivera and Jane Krakowski — along with famed theater enthusiast Hillary Clinton — are taking part in a virtual performance of “The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!)” to help rebuild the York Theatre after it experienced “devastating” damage in January from a water main break.

Parker and Broderick have reportedly been quietly shopping around the Charles Street property for nearly a year, with a $19 million price tag in mind.

They purchased the West Village pad for $3 million in 2000. After nearly a year of looking for a buyer, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have offloaded their longtime New York City home to an anonymous purchaser for $15 million, according to property records obtained by the New York Post. The pair were reported to have offered up the property as an off-market “whisper” listing in January 2020, at which time they asked $19 million for the West Village townhome.
