The debate as to where Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett falls in the SEC rankings at his position continues as the 2022 season quickly approaches. Last month saw outlets place him No. 8 and No. 9 in the conference, and SEC Network experts all kept him out of their top five SEC quarterback lists during SEC Media Days broadcasts. This week saw SEC Network analyst Matt Stinchcomb rank his top five quarterbacks, and Stetson Bennett came in at No. 2, behind Alabama's Bryce Young.

Will Anderson is building his resume at Alabama to the point that he’s drawing NFL comparisons a year before he’s even eligible for the NFL Draft. The Alabama linebacker was the subject of a breakdown by ESPN analyst Matt Stinchcomb, who recently paid a visit to “McElroy and Cubelic In the morning” on WJOX out of Birmingham, Alabama. Stinchcomb said Anderson has already received comparisons to Derrick Thomas, the NFL great who played for the Kansas City Chiefs, because of first-step quickness. But Stinchcomb has another former NFL player in mind.

The Atlanta native is no stranger to accolades as Matt Stinchcomb is also a member of the Georgia-Florida Hall of Fame, the University of Georgia Circle of Honor, an “SEC Legend” and is one of the 19 Dawgs in the College Football Hall of Fame.
