Marlon Wayans Developing New Comedy Series for Starz

Marlon Wayans is teaming up with Starz to develop a new comedy series, according to a recent report from The Hollywood Reporter. The new series, titled Book of Marlon, will be inspired by the life and career of Wayans, with Marlon and his producing partner Rick Alvarez writing the pilot episode alongside Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin — the co-creators of HBO Max’s South Side and IFC/AMC’s Sherman’s Showcase.
