Chiasson is a replacement for Julia Avila, who withdrew from the contest due to a knee injury. Both athletes confirmed the new bantamweight booking on social media following an initial report from MMAFighting.com. UFC Fight Night 199 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and is headlined by a heavyweight duel between Derrick Lewis and Chris Daukaus.

Raquel Pennington will still get one last fight in before the end of the year. MMA Fighting confirmed with sources with knowledge of the new date that Ladd (9-1) and Chiasson (7-1) will now fight at a UFC event on Oct. 2 following the postponement of their July 24 bout due to a Chiasson injury. The Oct. 2 Fight Night event has yet to be officially announced.
