'One of the best defensive plays I’ve seen in years,' Sophomore Luke Foley steps up to seal West Boylston win over Valley Tech

UPTON — Blackstone Valley Tech’s offense only made it to the red zone twice on Saturday, and both times West Boylston’s Luke Foley turned away the Beavers. Foley, a sophomore, had an interception late in the first half, then made what Lions coach Mike Ross called “one of the best defensive plays I’ve seen in years,” coming over to rip the ball away from Valley Tech senior captain Trey Howe at the 1-yard line on what would have been the go-ahead touchdown with 3:52 remaining.
