Luke Combs, Lady A among 2021 ACM Honors recipients

Dan + Shay, Toby Keith, Loretta Lynn and others also being honored. The Academy of Country Music has announced the recipients of the Special Awards for the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards which include Ken Burn’s Country Music, Rac Clark, Luke Combs, Ross Copperman, Dan + Shay, Joe Galante, Toby Keith, Lady A, Loretta Lynn, Gretchen Peters, Curly Putman and Rascal Flatts. The event will take place Wednesday, August 25th at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. Honorees will be celebrated during the 14th Annual ACM Honors, an evening dedicated to recognizing the special honorees and off-camera category winners from the 55th and 56th Academy of Country Music Awards. The Academy of Country Music Special Awards are voted on by the ACM Board of Directors for specific achievements. Leading up to ACM Honors, ACM Party for a Cause Benefitting ACM Lifting Lives, will return in August with more details to follow in the coming weeks, making it the first time ACM Party for a Cause will be in Nashville, TN.
