Lance Leipold explains what KU football fans should expect during Saturday's 'Spring Preview'

Kansas football’s spring slate will come to a close on Saturday afternoon. The program will host a “Spring Preview” at 1 p.m. at Memorial Stadium on Saturday to serve as its 15th and final practice of the spring calendar. KU began its spring practice schedule on Feb. 28, the earliest the KU program has started its spring in a long time. Between that date and April 9, KU will have held 15 practices. Typically, KU’s practices have been held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Lance Leipold explains why Kansas hasn’t signed a receiver in its 2022 recruiting class

LAWRENCE — The 14 scholarships Kansas football has used so far in its 2022 recruiting class, as of Friday morning, address needs at a number of positions in different ways. There’s the trio of offensive linemen, two high school signees and one college transfer. There’s the pair of linebackers, who are both transfers from the college level as well. Jayhawks head coach Lance Leipold and his staff have brought in a mixture of youth and experience, as they attempt to build their roster.

It was a slow National Signing Day for the Kansas football program on Wednesday. With most of KU's work already done via the transfer portal and Early Signing Period, the Jayhawks only signed one player on Wednesday, Brian Dilworth, a cornerback out of Florida. Dilworth committed to KU following his official visit on Jan. 21-23, wrapping up KU’s class of high school recruits.The 5-foot-10, 170-pound cornerback is ranked as the No. 62 prospect at his position and the No. 654-ranked recruit nationally. Dilworth was once committed to Auburn.

Lance Leipold shuffles coaching staff with addition of Jim Panagos

This week, Lance Leipold added a new member to his coaching staff in an on-field role. Veteran coach Jim Panagos was officially announced as the Kansas football defensive tackles coach on Tuesday after he spent the last two seasons on staff at Rutgers. Panagos arrives in Lawrence with over 20 years of coaching experience in both college and the NFL.
