Practice Report: Kyle Hamilton Gets First Interception of Training Camp

Kyle Hamilton made an impressive play during Monday's practice that he hopes to replicate many times this fall. The rookie safety covered plenty of ground for his first interception of training camp, reacting quickly to a Tyler Huntley pass and cutting in front of Shemar Bridges. Hamilton showed off more athleticism after the interception, zig-zagging about 30 yards downfield on the return before he was touched down by Jaylon Moore.

Ravens Q&A: Rookie standout Isaiah Likely on Mark Andrews’ tips, battling Kyle Hamilton and ‘the king of the jungle’

After his sixth straight day of practice, with the temperature mercifully under 90 degrees, Isaiah Likely headed for one end of an autograph line spanning the length of a football field at the Ravens’ facility in Owings Mills. Kyle Hamilton exited Baltimore Ravens practice early Wednesday after diving to break up a pass during a drill, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. Ravens’ Kyle Hamilton got burned in training camp….so what?

Baltimore Ravens rookie Kyle Hamilton didn’t have his finest moment in last week’s training camp, but the media’s overreactions have been absurd. The 2022 first-rounder has been touted as a franchise cornerstone piece in the Ravens’ defense and should get plenty of starting snaps this upcoming season. Hamilton made some impressive plays in rookie minicamp earlier this summer, though he did stumble a bit in training camp last week.

The Ravens practiced for two and a half hours in 90 degree heat and full sun. It showed. During the last 15 minutes of practice today, I watched five different players exit with cramping symptoms.
