Kyle Chandler is a well-known American actor best known for his work on TV shows, such as 'Early Edition' and 'Friday Night Lights'. His work in the latter, where he played the lead role, won him an Emmy award. The series also garnered critical acclaim, winning several awards. Also a film actor, he gained popularity for his roles in several hit films. He was seen in the 2005 remake of 'King Kong', a famous epic monster film. The film was a huge success, and won three Oscars. Other films he has appeared in include 'The Day the Earth Stood Still', 'Argo,' 'The Wolf of Wall Street', and 'Manchester by the Sea'. His most recent work on television is 'Bloodline', a drama thriller series, where he can be seen in the lead role. The series has mostly gained positive reviews. Chandler is also a volunteer firefighter. He takes part in an annual charity golf tournament which raises funds for injured football players. Along with his daughter, he is also involved in trying to end the practice of shark finning.

Kyle Chandler On The Americana Of ‘Super Pumped’ And Its Story Of Money And Innovation

When Kyle Chandler found out he was going to play investment guru Bill Gurley opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s take on former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick in Showtime’s Super Pumped (which airs Sundays), his immediate impulse was to call the man up and pick his brain about his life and experiences funding the rideshare behemoth’s rise. But then he thought better. As Chandler confirmed when we spoke ahead of yesterday’s series premiere, he feels a great sense of responsibility when playing a real person and leans on his research and the source material (Mike Isaac’s book of the same name, which he raves about) to find the character, but over-prepping might create something more like an impression and less like a performance. And in this case, there was room for interpretation in how Gurley moved in the lion cage, chair in hand.

Showtime has released a new trailer for the upcoming first installment in a new anthology series. "Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber" will premiere on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and it's all about the rise and fall of Travis Kalanick, the founder of Uber. The ride-sharing service may have changed the way we travel, but it had a whole lot of baggage that came along with it. The first trailer gave off some strong "The Wolf of Wall Street" vibes and not in a good way. I was very worried that Kalanick would be glorified the way Jordan Belfort was in that film. (They gave the man a cameo. I know people who were hurt in that scandal and it's not okay.)
