Kristaps Porzingis

Kristaps Porzingis is a Latvian basketball player, who plays in the ‘National Basketball Association’ (NBA). He represents New York City’s ‘New York Knicks,’ for which he plays at both center and power forward positions. After starting his career at a Spanish basketball league called ‘Liga ACB,’ Kristaps Porzingis was drafted into the NBA where he became the highest drafted Baltic and Latvian player in the history of NBA. In 2015, Porzingis was declared as the ‘Latvian Rising Star of the Year,’ thanks to his association with NBA. Two years later, he was selected to represent his national team at the 40th edition of the ‘EuroBasket’ championship. Standing at 7 foot and 3 inches, Porzingis is often compared to the likes of Dirk Nowitzki, who has often been referred to as a ‘legend’ by Porzingis.
