The future country star played gigs around town with Horton's daughter, performing at clubs and writing songs, before relocating as a teenager to Tennessee, to attend the Sewanee Military Academy.
Brooks & Dunn are bringing their Reboot Tour 2022 to the Ford Center in Evansville on Thursday, May 5th. Angel and I had the chance to catch up with one half of that dynamic duo and talk about the tour, the album of the same name and the upcoming concert here in the tristate.

Artist and national radio personality Kix Brooks of duo Brooks & Dunn is set to host a benefit concert for the historic Princess Theatre in Winnsboro, LA on Tuesday, September 21st. Brooks is a Louisiana native and curated the event in hopes of preserving the theater for future generations. His special guests will include Jimmy Stewart, Laurence Hobgood and Briana Calhoun.
