Kevin Olusola, born as Kevin Oluwole Olusola, is an American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. He is best recognized as the beatboxer of the band Pentatonix and has released five albums with the group, including ‘PTX, Volume 1’ and ‘PTX, Vol. II.’ Olusola, who is known for developing the art of ”celloboxing’’, i.e. playing cello and beatboxing simultaneously, is also a songwriter. He has co-written four songs for ‘PTX, Vol. II.’ including ‘Natural Disaster,’ ‘Hey Momma/Hit the Road Jack,’ ‘Love Again’ and ‘Run to You.’ Olusola has also released his solo EP titled ‘The Renegade EP’. The American artiste has performed at several musical festivals, such as Kronberg Academy Festival and the Amsterdam Cello Biennale. He has opened TED Conference in Vancouver and was even chosen by Quincy Jones to represent the latter in a concert at the 2012 Montreux Jazz Festival. Kevin Olusola is also fluent in Mandarin.
