'Happily' Trailer: Joel McHale & Kerry Bishé Are a Married Couple With Dangerously Jealous Friends in This Dark Rom-Com

Consider me very intrigued by the trailer for Saban Films' Happily, a dark romantic comedy starring Joel McHale (Community) and Kerry Bishé (Halt and Catch Fire). The new film comes from BenDavid Grabinski (Are You Afraid of the Dark?), who directs from a script he also wrote. This twisted comedy, which counts Jack Black as a producer, was originally set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2020 but is finally coming our way in March. With chops like this and a killer trailer to boot, you may want to set a reminder to check out Happily the second it's released.

Joel McHale And Kerry Bishé Are Madly In Love (And Everyone Hates Them For It) In The ‘Happily’ Trailer

Maybe I’m crazy, but I enjoy it when actors from television shows I like are in a movie together. Happily, a dark comedy about a long-time couple that learns their friends are resentful of their love (also, there’s a corpse), stars Community‘s Joel McHale and Halt and Catch Fire‘s Kerry Bishé. We’re off to a great start, even if I’m angry about Bishé not winning an Emmy for her performance on the AMC series all over again.
