Sting, Kenny Loggins among It’s Always Something cancer benefit concert

Sting, Jon Batiste, Rosanne Cash, Kenny Loggins, David Sanborn, Kandace Springs, and Bernie Williams & Gil Parris are among the performers at “It’s Always Something,” a virtual benefit concert to raise awareness and funds for Gilda’s Club NYC that provides free cancer support programming to men, women, teens, and children in the New York City area since 1995. The event is May 19th at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT and will be livestreamed at via YouTube.

Kenny Loggins has announced that he is compiling his movie soundtrack songs for the very first time for a special exclusive Record Store Day vinyl release. The record will be entitled "At The Movies" and will feature some of his biggest soundtrack hits including I'm Alright" (Caddyshack), "Footlose" (Footloose), "Danger Zone" (Top Gun).

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Legendary rock star and singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins has done a lot in his 50+ year career in music, but he's particularly proud of his newest song. "The Great Adventure" was specifically written for the San Diego Zoo. Loggins visited the zoo with his family in 2018 and pitched them on carrying his children's book "Footloose" in the gift shop. In the book, zoo animals are released from their habitats each night so they can dance to Loggins' beloved song from the hit movie.
