Johnson finished with 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds and three assists across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 116-97 victory over the Nuggets. Johnson has embraced a bigger role on offense with Dejounte Murray (illness) out, and the Olympic medalist has done a good job of stepping up his game. To be fair, though, Johnson has been a key piece on offense all season long for the Spurs, but his numbers have experienced a spike of late. He's scored at least 20 points in each of his last seven appearances.
