Keenen Ivory Wayans

Keenen Ivory Wayans is a famous American actor, comedian and filmmaker. His first major contribution to show business was when he played host and co-creator of the 1990 – 1994 Fox sketch comedy series, ‘In Living Colour’. Ever since he has produced, written and directed a number of films including ‘Hollywood Shuffle’ and ‘Scary Movie 2000’. He hosted the talk show ‘The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show’ from 1997 to 1998 and most recently was a judge for the eighth season of ‘Last Comic Standing’. He is the pioneer of the famous Wayans family of entertainment and is responsible for introducing his siblings to show business. Most of his productions portray the lives of oppressed black people in America and one or more of his brothers or sisters have appeared along with him on the sets. He has rightly been described as a role model for young black Americans who want to make a name for themselves in comedy and show business. He is a strict vegetarian and promoter of healthy living.
