Kayleigh McEnany And Jared Kushner Are Writing Books About ‘What Really Happened’ During The Trump Administration, But Everyone Expects Lies

Donald Trump can’t score a book deal, but two of his cronies have. In recent days, Jared Kushner, who served as the senior advisor to his father-in-law, and Kayleigh McEnany, the president’s longest-lasting press secretary, have both announced that they’re writing books. Kushner struck a deal with Broadside Books, a conservative imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, and his memoir will be “the definitive, thorough recounting of the administration, and the truth about what happened behind closed doors.” Meanwhile, McEnany has “delivered” the manuscript for For Such a Time as This: My Faith Journey through the White House and Beyond, which “describes her path to the White House podium, bringing the reader behind the scenes in the world’s most powerful building and illuminating how faith got her through.” Here’s more:

‘Big Lie’ proponent Kayleigh McEnany says she ‘never lied’ as press secretary

“I will never lie to you,” Kayleigh McEnany said in May 2020 when she started as then-President Donald Trump’s press secretary. Now, McEnany is pleased to report that she fulfilled that pledge. In a speech over the weekend at an event of conservative group Turning Point USA, McEnany told the audience, “Then there was the question, ‘Will you ever lie to us?’ And I said without hesitation, ‘No.’ And I never did. As a woman of faith, as a mother of baby Blake, as a person who meticulously prepared at some of the world’s hardest institutions, I never lied, I sourced my information, but that will never prevent the press from calling you a liar.”

What Kayleigh McEnany Just Admitted About Her Time In The White House

It looks like there is one question former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany will never forget being asked from her time representing former President Donald Trump. While speaking in front of conservative group Turning Point USA at their Young Women's Leadership Summit on June 13, she recalled an inquiry she received during a May 2020 press conference in which a journalist asked, "Will you pledge to never lie to us from the podium?" She promptly replied, "I will never lie to you," and although critics were quick to slam her remark at the time, it seems like she still stands by her word.

Kayleigh McEnany Claims She ‘Never Lied’ as Press Secretary ‘as a Woman of Faith’

Kayleigh McEnany claimed Sunday that it was impossible for her to lie during her time as former President Donald Trump’s White House press secretary because of her faith in God. “As a woman of faith, as a mother of baby Blake, as a person who meticulously prepared at some of the world's hardest institutions, I never lied. I sourced my information,” she told the audience at Turning Point USA’s Young Women’s Leadership Summit. A year ago, McEnany pledged to reporters, “I will never lie to you,” a vow that fact-checkers found she repeatedly broke. McEnany is now an on-air political commentator for Fox News.

Kayleigh McEnany Told A Crowd ‘I Never Lied,’ And People On Twitter Were Quick To Call Bull On That One, Too

Kayleigh McEnany was Donald Trump’s fourth and arguably most destructive press secretary, who many believed was somehow able to top the cartoon villainy of Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee Sanders. (His third, Stephanie Grisham, perhaps wisely kept a low profile, which is to say she almost never did her job, which is speaking to the press.) She was rude, she was condescending, and she was always spinning the truth, attempting to protect her frequently lawless employer. (She also seems to be pretty bitter about her successor.) So when she told a crowd she’d never lied on the job, people online were quick to call bull.

Kayleigh McEnany complains that Jen Psaki is getting more positive attention than she did

The last press secretary in the Trump White House, Kayleigh McEnany, complained on Fox News that her successor in the Biden administration, Jen Psaki, is getting much more positive media attention than she did. After it became clear that famed photographer Annie Leibovitz had visited the White House to photograph Ms Psaki, Ms McEnany noted that “instead of the glowing profiles” of her successor in the role, during her own tenure from April 2020 to January 2021, “there were hit pieces repeatedly, time and time again”. The co-host of Outnumbered said that it was “just so sad that...

Kayleigh McEnany Whines: Why Didn’t I Get an Annie Leibovitz Picture?

Kayleigh McEnany took to Fox News on Friday to complain that famed photographer Annie Leibovitz had never photographed her or Melania Trump, a fact that she described as evidence of the entire press corps’ moral decay. The former White House press secretary to Donald Trump was responding to a White House reporter’s tweet that Leibovitz had been spotted at the White House preparing to shoot current press secretary Jen Psaki for a magazine profile. Agreeing that there was “a dearth of even profiles, not to mention Annie Leibovitz shoots” of women in the Trump White House, McEnany whined, “Instead of the glowing profiles, there were hit pieces, repeatedly, time and time again. It’s just so sad that you have a fawning press corps like this, a fawning media sycophantically covering members of the Biden administration.”
