Around the Farm: Karl Henriksson bumped to top line in win

Karl Henriksson was bumped up to the top line yesterday for Frolunda, and immediately contributed with an assist in Frolunda’s 5-4 win. The Rangers clearly see something in Henriksson, signing him to an ELC despite the transfer agreement ensuring Henriksson would return to the SHL. The concern is with his scoring line, and that may not translate to future NHL success. But he does play a solid two-way game. We will know more once he comes over from the SHL, hopefully next season.

Around the Farm: Karl Henriksson with assist in Frolunda win

Karl Henriksson notched an assist in Frolunda’s 6-4 win yesterday, giving him a line of 3-5-8 in 25 games this season. He’s not a high level kid, but he still has a chance to be an impact player in the NHL.
