Just days before two headlining appearances at the BST Hyde Park festival in London next week, the singer took to Twitter to share the all-female lineup of artists who will perform with her for the shows on July 1 and 2. The bill will also feature Kacey Musgraves and Gabrielle, along with rising artists Mahalia, Self Esteem, Nilüfer Yanya, Tiana Major9, Chrissi, Bonnie Kemplay, Ruti and Tamzene.

Adele has her opening acts for her Hyde Park dates. There are 10 of them, all female, most you’ve never heard of. For Americans the biggest name is Kacey Musgraves. The others are obscure or UK oriented. British singer Gabrielle, age 52, is listed on the same line as Musgraves above the other names. She has no following in the US but she’s obviously popular across the Pond.

One week before the 34-year-old is scheduled to perform at the London festival, she took to Twitter to reveal that an all-female lineup of artists — from Kacey Musgraves to Gabrielle — is slated to join her on her two-date run. “The line up for my Hyde Park shows next week is going to blow your socks off!” she wrote, sharing a poster for the festival as well as a black-and-white graphic of her with some of her guest performers....

Kacey Musgraves has added an entry to the long list of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” covers, and I’m gonna go out on a limb and say hers is better than the UB40 version. Musgraves’ rendition of the Elvis Presley classic is the latest track to be revealed from the soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann’s reportedly incoherent new biopic Elvis, following Elvis samples and interpolations from the likes of Doja Cat, Diplo and Swae Lee, and Eminem and CeeLo Green.
