It played host to Queen Victoria and George V in the 19th century, and last night fashion royalty descended on Spencer House, a spectacular mansion tucked away in St James, for an intimate dinner hosted by Moschino’s Jeremy Scott. Supermodels, musicians and movie stars gathered for cocktails (a summer-ready mix of lemon sorbet and Bollinger champagne) on the terrace, before milling into the neoclassical dining room where – in a beautifully Bridgerton flourish – a live harpist played pop hits.
