Braves' Josh Tomlin: Earns win Thursday

Tomlin (3-0) struck out one in 1.1 perfect innings to earn the win against the Nationals on Thursday. Tomlin was brought in to record the final out of the sixth inning, and Atlanta scored four runs in the bottom half of the frame to put him in line for the win. The righty has posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 26.2 innings across 19 relief appearances to begin the year.

Braves' Josh Tomlin: Set for bullpen role

Tomlin has posted a 2.25 ERA and 5:0 K:BB through four Grapefruit League innings this spring. The veteran right-hander has been a solid long reliever/swingman for Atlanta over the last two years with a 4.08 ERA and 1.15 WHIP, and Tomin could be leaned on fairly heavily in the early going as the team looks to manage the workload of the rotation. It's not a particularly fantasy-friendly role, but he might stumble into a win or two with a potent offense at his back.
