OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that the team has signed forward Josh Norris to an eight-year, $63.6M contract. The contract has an average value of $7.95 million annually and includes the following breakdown: $5M in 2022-23, $6.5M in 2023-24, $9.5M in 2024-25, $9.5M in 2025-26, $9.5M in 2026-27, $8.75 in 2027-28, $7.85M in 2028-29 and $7M in 2029-30. Norris, 23, appeared in 66 of the Senators' 82 regular-season games in 2021-22 and led the team in goals (35) while ranking third in points (55) and registering 16 penalty minutes. The campaign marked the second consecutive in which he ranked among the top three in Senators' scoring.
