Charles Schwab Challenge 2022 picks, predictions, field, odds, tee times: Golf expert says pick Jordan Spieth
Justin Thomas won't get much time to savor his PGA Championship win before he tees off Thursday in the 2022 Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas. Thomas beat Will Zalatoris in a three-hole playoff last week at Southern Hills for his second major championship. Colonial Country Club should present a huge challenge this week, with high winds in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday, but there are players in the field who have conquered it before. Jordan Spieth won the event in 2016 and has been a runner-up three times, while Jason Kokrak has a victory and a tie for third the past two years. Daniel Berger was the 2020 champion, beating Collin Morikawa. Spieth, Thomas and Morikawa are among the six top-10 players in the Charles Schwab Challenge 2022 field, and they will be joined by top-ranked Scottie Scheffler, Viktor Hovland and Sam Burns. Zalatoris also is scheduled to compete this week.
