Paul, fresh off of his first-round KO win over Ben Askren at the Triller Fight Club event earlier this month, was in attendance for the UFC’s return to full capacity at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla.

Jon Anik reacts to Francis Ngannou’s title win, Nate Diaz vs. Leon Edwards, more

Sitting cage side at UFC 260, Jon Anik could feel the intensity throughout the heavyweight championship bout between Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou. Jon Anik calls Francis Ngannou arrogant in "certain" dealings with the UFC.

At 23:42 of Episode 294 of the Anik/Florian podcast: "There were times where maybe, he uhh, he was a little bit arrogant in certain, maybe, dealings with the UFC." I'm trying to understand where this is coming from. The only thing I can think about is when Francis was asking for a fight/ potential interim championship fight when the whole Stipe/DC thing was going down and he couldn't get a fight for almost a year. If that's what Jon considers arrogance, then damn. I mean, I get that he's employed by the UFC, but he's about as much a corporate shill for the UFC as anyone. How can you fault a man for asking for a fight when he hasn't had one in almost a year, and that is what he does to feed his family.
