John McCain was an American politician who served as a Senator from Arizona. He was the Republican Party’s presidential nominee in the 2008 presidential elections. Born into a military family, he followed his family tradition and joined the U.S Naval Academy, eventually becoming a naval aviator. He took part in the Vietnam War and was almost killed, on a bombing mission over Hanoi, when his plane was shot down and he was taken a prisoner. John McCain's near-death experience in the Vietnam War didn’t deter him from returning back to resume duty. After retiring from the navy, he joined politics. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives twice and to the U.S Senate four times. He has earned a reputation of a "maverick" politician for his open disagreement with his party on certain issues. He played a key role in restoring diplomatic relations with Vietnam in the 1990s. He was a US Senator from Arizona from 1987 to 2018. He also contested for presidential nomination in 2000 against Texas Governor George W. Bush, and ran for the US presidential elections in 2008 opposite Democratic candidate Barack Obama but lost.

Opinion: Not only is the late senator haunting former President Donald Trump, but also, it seems, Trump’s high-profile toadies, such as Lake. Apparently, former Sen. John McCain not only resides in the head of Donald Trump, but also sycophants like Kari Lake. I’m beginning to think that the late...
After a weekend of angry tweeting, former GOP operative Steve Schmidt launched a new Substack yesterday by asserting that the late Sen. John McCain lied to him, to The New York Times and to America about his longtime relationship with a female lobbyist. Driving the news ... Schmidt, the top...
I’m beginning to think that the late Sen. John McCain is even busier in the afterlife than he was during his allotted 81 years on this mortal coil.
He continues driving the fringiest of fringe Republicans to utter distraction.

Things haven’t been great for Meghan McCain. Since leaving The View last summer, she’s been quietly dragged by her former colleagues. She released a memoir, Bad Republican, which did well when it was released exclusively as an audiobook on Audible but tanked very, very, very badly when it belatedly hit hardcover. Now one of her father’s former aides has come for her.
Over the weekend, one longtime Republican decided he’d been quiet long enough. Steve Schmidt, a strategist who managed John McCain’s unsuccessful presidential run in 2008, took to Twitter, where he proceeded to unleash hell upon Meghan McCain, who was already smarting from surreally lousy hardcover book sales. Then he came for his old boss’ notorious running mate.
The U.S. Senate has passed bipartisan legislation designating July 20, 2022, as National Glioblastoma Day in honor of the late Arizona Republican Senator John McCain. He died from the disease in 2018 at the age of 82. The legislation, proposed by Arizona Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema, calls for treatments of...
Meghan McCain is making sure her late father John McCain is part of her daughter's life. The former The View co-host documented her recent visit to her father's gravesite with her daughter Liberty, sharing a photo on Instagram of the two spending a moment together looking on at the late senator's headstone, which was decorated with several small American flags.
Former US President Donald Trump said Sunday in a statement that he is throwing his support behind Sarah Palin in her bid for Alaska’s US House seat. The endorsement comes after reports surfaced last week that the former running mate in John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign had spoken with Mr Trump ahead of her throwing her name in the race for the Alaska seat.Trump news - live updates“Wonderful patriot Sarah Palin of Alaska just announced that she is running for Congress, and that means there will be a true America First fighter on the ballot,” Mr Trump said in a...
Click here to read the full article. It can sometimes take Donald Trump a little while to throw his weight behind a congressional candidate. It only took him two days to endorse Sarah Palin to replace longtime Alaska Rep. Don Young, who died last month. The former vice presidential candidate and early Trump supporter announced on Friday that she will be running to fill the seat. The former president announced on Sunday that he wants her to win. “Sarah shocked many when she endorsed me very early in 2016, and we won big,” Trump wrote in a statement. “Now, it’s...
PHOENIX — The images coming out of Ukraine show what happens when anyone is in the direct line of Vladimir Putin's fury. The country has been under attack for weeks with no regard for anyone - not even children. One man has also been in Putin's direct line of...
A while back Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham stupidly suggested that Russian leader Vladimir Putin be assassinated.
Graham said of Putin, “The only way this ends, my friend, is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out.”
