Somewhere in the space between The Supreme Court and The People’s Court lie problems so trivial and absurd that no judge in their right mind would take them on. Leaping into that yawning abyss is comedian John Hodgman, star of The Daily Show and a regular columnist for The New York Times Magazine, who brings his lightly twisted sense of humor (and ethics) to bear as decider Judge Hodgman for this live podcast taping. Assisted by his bailiff, comedian Jesse Thorn, Hodgman presents the final word on problems both piddling and petty with the mix of family-friendly comedy, pop culture obsession, and sheer unadulterated fake legal wisdom that’s served his Webby Award-winning show so well for over 500 episodes. Experience the thrill of Hodgman’s small claims court of the soul, live and in person!
