LONDON - Two people glued themselves to the frame of one of England’s most popular oil paintings in protest of the production and licensing of new fossil fuels. The protesters glued themselves to John Constable’s 1821 painting "The Hay Wain" on July 4 at the National Gallery in London. They were later identified as Hannah Hunt, 23, and Eben Lazarus, 22, of Just Stop Oil, a U.K. climate activist group that has been behind several recent protests — including a similar incident involving a Vincent van Gogh painting.
