When you think about some of the top high school basketball teams in the city, Imhotep Charter has to be the best on that list. Over the years, Imhotep has been nothing short of a fantastic basketball team. Under head coach Andre Noble, Imhotep has won nine Philadelphia Public League titles, seven Pennsylvania Interscholastic 4A state championships and five city championships. The John Bartram Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19 at Rohan Recreation Center. The meeting will not take place at Eisenhower Recreation Center, where the group normally meets, because the recreation center will be closed for maintenance.
